I wonder, how is it that we discuss mundane topics like finance, politics, Mormon prophecies, bogus philosophies, etc.? What is the value in discussing these things? Is it that we think we know it all regarding KC? I’m just perplexed as to why we indulge in this stuff. Why do we not engage in Krsna katha instead of the mundane? You’re so advanced Bubba, why do we waste our precious time with these topics? I understand that it’s good to know what’s going on in the world, but we already know what’s up. Same old shit, bigger pile. It just gets worse as Kali Yuga progresses. Are we becoming bored with KC? What is the answer? Really bothered by this. Shed some light on it my friend.

Obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada. “Why do we discuss mundane topics like finance, politics etc.? What is the value in discussing these things?” Good question. The answer is because everything in this world is a perverted reflection of the Krishna consciousness state. ISHOPANISHAD states we should understand the absolute truth and simultaneously understand the shadow of MAYA side by side.

Srila Prabhupada is the authentic, pure, transcendental Personality, the center of our spiritual life, then, now, and in the future for all the people of the world (not just you and me and a few departed souls in the past). He and his books can be compared to GOLD and SILVER, the so-called ISKCON (Disciples) GURUS are like CENTRAL BANKERS who issue paper money through the central government of ISKCON GBCs. The network of CENTRAL BANKERS OF ISKCON, the temple presidents (small bankers) are allowed to go bankrupt, but never the Central Bankers GBCs and GURUS. (No matter how self-serving and corrupt they are found to be.)
The books of Prabhupada are being used like currency notes which are supposed to be as good as GOLD (Prabhupada), but since Prabhupada is gone, the Central Bankers (Gurus and GBCs) keep devaluating PRABHUPADA’S BOOKS by changing their contents. Thus like the karmi Central Bankers have convinced the people in general that there is no need for GOLD and SILVER MONEY, the GBCs and GURUS are in the process of convincing the public and their followers that THERE IS NO ACCESS TO PRABHUPADA, except through them, the SELF-APPOINTED CENTRAL BANKERS OF ISKCON, GURUS and GBCs.
Thus there is no foundation of GOLD and SILVER (Prabhupada and his books) backing them or ISKCON up. ISKCON is running on COUNTER-FIAT, meaning contrary to the authorized system set up by Prabhupada. FIAT means authorised, or authorization. The whole system is one of a counterfeiting operation.
The CENTRAL BANKING GURUS are also printing their own books, engaging their disciples to distribute those books instead of the GOLD AND SILVER books of Prabhupada.
In fact that brings up a little story. In Indore, India, we did a program at the palace of the King and Queen of Indore. Prabhupada had me try to convince the King to become a life member. I showed Prabhupada’s books to him and made a great effort to convince him to take the books and become a member (1,111.00 Rupees at the time). I failed – he did not become a member. I felt very bad. On the way back to our place, in the car I asked Prabhupada if I said the right things to the King, though he refused to be a member. Prabhupada replied, “MY BOOKS ARE LIKE GOLD. ONE WHO KNOWS THE VALUE WILL BUY THEM.”
Now the books are adulterated, and Prabhupada has been replaced with CENTRAL BANKING GURUS who will take the whole system of GURU PARAMPARA into the dust of oblivion, just like the karmi bankers who have no gold and silver backing to their FIAT money system.
So we have to learn to see the analogously situated energy (Maya) and thus be in the world, but not of the world. Prabhupada told us, “We shall not be estranged from the world.” We are not like hermits, aloof and alone. We have to battle with Maya. But if we do not understand Maya, how can we fight successfully?
