Kirtans with Hansadutta

Hansadutta singing, recorded at the ISKCON Berkeley temple on Stuart Street, off Telegraph Avenue, some time around 1979-1980. These songs are from the collection “Songs of the Acharyas”.

The first is composed by author unknown. It is comprised of 11 verses, and praises Lord Krishna and His beloved Radha and all their associates – mother, father, brother and friends, as well as the very place named Vrindaban, where the Supreme Lord staged His most intimate pastimes.

The second is composed by Lochan das Thakur in the Bengali language. Lochan das Thakur appreciates the mercy of the two Lords Nityananda Prabhu and Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and acknowledges that They are the incarnations of the Supreme Lord and His direct expansion Balarama, come to introduce the most joyful process of self realization through chanting and dancing.
