Evidence contradicts Narayan Maharaja’s claim

ISKCON GBC at last has come out with a transcript of Srila Prabhupada’s last conversation with Narayan Maharaja on October 8, 1977, complete with the Bengali text and English translation, and has published an analysis. Here’s an excerpt:

Having examined Narayana Maharaja’s presentation of what Srila Prabhupada instructed him, and having compared it carefully with the record of the events—recorded on tape and in the testimonies of participants—we have no choice but to conclude that the record does not support Narayana Maharaja’s version of events.
