Picture Puzzles and Government Cover-ups

Everything has percolated down through the three modes of nature (goodness, passion and ignorance) to this plane of earth, water, fire, etc. For everything there is some original form or relationship or story. If we know the absolute original, then we can understand its percolated derivative. If I know real diamonds and rubies, I know when I see the imitation diamonds and rubies. Unless one knows the goal, everything in life remains a puzzle. Just like a child's puzzle… unless the complete picture is known, it is impossible to put the pieces of the puzzle together, and if a wrong picture is supplied, it becomes even more puzzling and impossible to put the puzzle together properly. The conclusion is that without a clear picture or goal in any field of undertaking, one remains PUZZLED. Without a clear goal, everything remains a puzzle.

The Holy Name attracts and awakens the sleeping conditioned souls. The Bhagavatam and Bhagavad-gita sustain their new-found spiritual life. The only need is Krishna and to broadcast Krishna. Whatever material assets one possesses, if all those possessions are applied for Krishna, he is perfect.

War has become entertainment. Child abduction, child molestation, disease, death--all of them are food for the entertainment industry, and entertainment sells advertisement.

All the varieties of religion and ethnic communities of the world are stuck in a rut of tradition, sentiment or dogma. No one really knows the original purpose of these traditions, rituals or dogmatic beliefs. They simply repeat them mechanically, because they know nothing else.

We speak of government conspiracy and coverups of mismanagement and scandal, but the ultimate coverup is their deliberate covering up the actual goal of life, namely to get free from the cycle of birth and death, thereby going back to home, back to Godhead. Because of this primary coverup, the citizens of the country are subjected to the terrifying prospect of repeating birth, old age, disease and death perpetually.

The government leaders are supposed to enlighten the citizens with real knowledge so that every citizen can make progress to perfect his life by the re-awakening of Krishna consciousness, thereby making them eligible to be released from the cycle of birth and death. Instead, the government ignores systematic spiritual education and educates the citizens to become more and more entangled in birth and death by encouraging them to indulge in unrestricted sinful life--meat eating, illicit sex, gambling and intoxication, which are the cause of perpetuating material existence, or repeated birth and death.
