The news media
is reeling with a major maritime disaster that occured Friday 3
February. An Egyptian ferry boat carrying over fifteen hundred
unfortunate souls has sunk due to bad weather in the Red Sea, and only
a few were saved. When I spotted the story on my computer this
(Saturday) morning, I checked my Panchang for the date of the next
eclipse. Sure enough, there will be a twosome of eclipses coming up in
March.
How does this affect us now? According to my research spanning the
entirety of the Twentieth Century and culminating in my forthcoming
book Horoscope For Disaster, the EFI or Eclipse Field of
Influence begins forty-five days from an eclipse, due to the taint upon
(1) the forthcoming lunar cycle and (2) the solar month. Afterwards,
the EFI then phases out forty-five days after the the last event of the
unwelcome twin phenomenons.
The first eclipse will be a penumbral eclipse of the Moon in Virgo on
14 March 2006. The ferry boat disaster occurred on 3 February 2006.
That means that the world was five days into the EFI when the mass
drowning occured. The eclipse to follow that will be on 28 March, a
total eclipse of the Sun in Pisces. Since eclipses following each other
influence and intertwine with one another, and consequently affect
world events, it is not surprising at all that the first disaster of
this EFI involves water, the element of the sign of Pisces.
The good readers of www.bhaktivedantas.com are advised that the
world is entering into a bruised period for the next three months. A
full essay predicting fortcoming events to occur under the twin
phenomena of March will follow in a few days after this posting.
Importantly, the first eclipse will occur on Gaura Purnima, which
ultimately should prove to be a bright augury for the bhaktas, but
devastating for the atheistic. As all devotees of our great Gaudiya
sampradaya are well aware, our dearmost Lord Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu
advented Himself during an eclipse when the the holy name of God is
naturally chanted more profusely to erase the dark clouds of Kali Yuga.
Likely, a world cleansing not seen in centuries is likely to be
underway. For our part, we are simple devotees utterly dependant upon
the mercy of Shri Shri Guru-Gauranga.
