Goldman Sachs $100 Million Trading Days Reach Record

STACY: This is the most amazing trading record in the history of capital markets.

MAX: Well, yeah, and the fact that they can go to congress or the media with a straight face and claim market omniscience and get away with it is un-believe-able.

STACY: Well, Max, very rarely in nature or in the markets do we see this sort of a performance. Usually it's associated with somebody with insider information i.e. front-running or a ponzi scheme.... as Tyler Durden put it, Bernie Madoff had an amazing track record as well.

MAX: So many scandals, so few shows to cover them all... But what is being suggested here with Goldman Sachs is that it's actual front-running and the 100 million or 200 million dollars a day that's being siphoned off, like you would stick a hose in a gas tank and siphon gas out, in this case they're siphoning money out of the New York Stock Exchange, and the statistics prove this. Karl Denninger has been on our show, he wrote a piece about this [Is This Statistically Reasonable?] — statistically this virtually impossible. People who know the space like Zero Hedge are pointing the finger at this and saying, "Look, this is just ridiculous, this really can't be, and the regulators need to be all over this. Where's the SEC?" Of course they're a captured regulator, and they are giving Goldman Sachs a big GET OUT OF JAIL PERMANENTLY FREE card.... go to story

No Change, No Reform

PRABHUPADA: Simply spoiling their time and public money. That's all. Simply spoiling. But public have no eyes to see them. They're also rascal. Therefore my Guru Maharaja used to say that the whole society's now combination of cheaters and cheated. That's all. The cheated want cheaters, and cheaters take the opportunity of the cheated. And that is the combination of the present day society. Somebody, they want to be cheated. And there are some cheaters. So the whole society is combination of cheater and cheated.

PROFESSOR WOLFE: That is why nobody wants to change anything.

To become a cheater is one of the conditions of material life. The four defects: He must commit mistake, he must be illusioned, and he must cheat, and his senses are imperfect. These are the four qualifications of the materialistic person.
