Three devotees from Berkeley - Oakland, California have submitted the following offerings of appreciation for Srila Prabhupada on the anniversary of his appearance.

Dear Srila Prabhupada,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. I pray to you to please remove these anartha's from my heart so that I may serve you better. I am your completely unworthy servant and some how or other I have come into some great fortune to be in contact with your World Sankirtan Movement. I pray that I may always be in contact with you and never at any moment forget. Please increase my service. I wish to be actively engaged in your Sankirtana activities. You may do what ever you like with my life.

I know it for a fact that I am totally unowrthy to express anything in mere words how much I appreciate Lord Krishna for sending us such a magnanimous personality as His Divind Grace Srila Prabhupada.

On this blessed of all days of his appearance in this material world, I wish to offer all glories, all praises, all respects unto the lotus feet of this Jagad Guru Maharaja, this spiritual master of spiritual masters.

For who is there like unto this astounding personality, who out of his own selfless love, mercy and compassion, sacrificed everything we would consider materialistically prosperous and successful to give us fallen conditioned sould the ultimate gift of spiritual realization, knowledge of God as an actual personality.

I am personally thankful to Lord Krishna for granting me an opportunity to be a living witness to such sacrificial love, for when I was in Vrindavana in '78, I had the chance to go to the Radha Damodar Temple and see for myself what it took to produce the first transliterations of the Srimad Bhagavatam from Sanskrit into English. Tears of astonishment flowed from my eyes that anyone would deny himself so much that we consistently take for granted here in America in order to bring us the teachings of the Vedic scriptures.

As recipients of his love and devotion to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha and Krishna and his selfless self sacrifice, we who call ourselves Krishna conscious devotees must never ever forget what this wonderful personality did to get us to this point where we are today.

Dear Srila Prabhupada,

Please accept my prostrated obeisances at your lotus feet. Your Divine Grace, I am writing this letter of thanks and celebration on behalf of all members of the human race and all jivas within the 8 million 400 thousand species on the wheel of samsara who are currently residents of this planet and every planet in this universe.

vande sir krsna caitanya
nityanandau sahoditau
gaudodaye puspanvantau
citrau sandau tamo nidau

I offer my obeisances to Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda, who are like the sun and moon. They have arisen on the horizon of Gaudadesh to dissipate the darkness of ignorance and wonderfully bestow benediction upon all. Keyword "all". The liberation of this universe has begun. All residents of this universe as they are made aware of the blessing they are receiving will celebrate Srila Prabhupada. They will celebrate all your divine guidance you have very kindly, mercifully given us in your books. You are the guru who lives in his books forever.

Because of your association, when I wake up in the morning and say, "Hare Krishna," I celebrate the presence of Radha and Krishna in my life. Why? Because you told us that when we chant Hare Krishna, the Divine dances upon our tongues and into the atmosphere. I offer the Divine Couple Radha Krishna flower garlands and throw flower petals at Their feet and pray for the day that I will become Their servant. Then I pray to the Panca Tattva and thank Them for appearing to liberate every jiva in the universe. I offer Them flower garlands and throw flower petals at Their feet and celebrate Their mercy flowing into our universe and the unfolding reality of every jiva in this universe boarding Their flower airplanes home to Krishna Loka. I pray to Tulasi Devi and offer Her a flower garland and ask Her for residencey in Vrindaban for all residents of this universe. I pray to Sita Rama Laxman Hanuman for pure devotional service. I offer Them flower garlands. I pray to all 21 incarnations of Krishna. I offer Them flower garlands and celebrate Their presence in my journey of life. I pray also to Lord Brahma, Lord Visnu, Lord Siva and the universal government of 33 million demigods, the four Kumaras, Narada Muni, six Goswamis of Vrindavan, all residents of Vrindavan, Mayapur, Jagannatha Puri, the residents of the nine islands of Navadvip.

Actually, my objective is to develop and perfect a relationship with all personalities who reside within your books, Your Divine Grace. When I look at a set of your books, I tell people, "Let me introduce you to my spiritual master and all the members of the universal form, the lord of the sun, Vivasvan, the lord of the moon, Candra, Mother Earth (her name is Bhumi devi), Lord of the ocean, Varuna Deva, and the divine goddesses who appear in the form of sacred rivers —

gange ca yamuna caiva
godavari sarasvati
narmade sindho kaveri
jale 'smin sannidhim kuru —

who are very merifully offering karmic amnesty with a drop of their sacred waters.

Actually, Srila Prabhupada, I could go on all day celebrating all your family members who reside in your books. The statements of yours, Prabhupada, that I relish the most and aspire to perfect my understanding on this journey are:

(1) "If you think of me, I'm there."
(2) "Attachment to your feet fulfills all desires."
(3) "I will live forever in my books, and you will utilize."
(4) "When you get back to the spiritual world, it will be like you just left."

I pray to you continually, Srila Prabhupada. "If you think of me, I am there." I prayed to you to become free from impersonalism in regards to this statement. I remember getting to carry you into Bury Place, four of us. I was front right, my eyes did not leave focusing on your every emotion. I have relived that experience with you in Bury Place 50 billion times. Now if becomeing free from impersonalism means I'll be able to experience your devotion to Radha Londonisvara, I pray to experience that same level of your presence in my perfect moments. Your kurta was soaked with tears as you cried before Their Lordships. Yamuna devi singing the Govindam prayers. Please free me from impersonalism so that I can enter into the dimension that allows me to be with you. When I pray to you to let me be with you, I celebrate your global body of followers, all chanting:

Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama
Rama Rama, Hare Hare

The mantra for deliverance.

I ask you, Your Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada, if I was free from impersonalism in regards to that statement, what would I see, and I just see your Hare Krishna movement as your physical body. You're a self-realized giant, and Hare Krishna mantra is pouring out of your body. I know that this vibration is circling the universe nine times, purifying it and fulfilling the mission of Gauranga Mahaprabhu. Prasadam is pouring out of your body approximately 4 million plates a day. The spiritual world is manifesting all over the planet in your temples. Your books, your books, your books are being distributed all over the planet.

Srila Prabhupada, one day I said to Guru das that we should do a show with all of your books displayed on the wall, the title of the show, "Prabhupada - The Guru who livies in his books." The audience can ask a question to Srila Prabhupada. Guru das can pick up a book randomly and read your answer. He loved th project. I hung up the phone and prayed to you, "Srila Prabhupada, what if your answers don't correlate with the question and we embarrass you?" So I said, "Srila Prabhupada, I want to ask you a question. I'll open one of your books and see if your answer correlates with the question." My question, Srila Prabhupada, "How do we liberate the universe?" Your answer (Radharani my witness) randomly book Beyond Birth and Death, I opened it in Chapter 3, titled "Liberation from Material Planets." I was absolutely amazed and celebrated your presence in that moment. Jaya Srila Prabhupada's direct answer.

I celebrate that we are with you by reading your books. Your global movment is purifying the planet every second of every day. The maha-mantra is pouring out of your body. You have said if we become Krsna conscious, we can recreate Vaikuntha. Vasudev Datta liberated a universe with one prayer. You have said attachment to your feet fulfills all desires (your desire is our desire). Jivera mocana, the deliverance of all living entities. This statement coming from a person whose family is the universal form. There are no limits to what can be achieved if we surrender to you.

And your ultimate statement: "When you get home, it will be like you just left."

When you arrived in New York, all by yourself, and went to work, Srila Prabhupada, your pure devotion created a global movement, the system and synchronicity of which is fulfilling the mission of Gauranga Mahaprabhu. Whatever impurities are there obviously will be purified in time from a satellite Prabhupada. The whole human race are insects here for 100 years. A bleep in our eternal journey. If we take shelter at your feet and become dedicated to your plan, our life is perfect, exclusive loyalty to your feet, your plan, your books.

Your global body is you personally present, pouring the Hare Krishna mantra out of every pore of your body. This vibration is circling the universe nine times, and it's building momentum. In six years ISKCON, your global body, will be 50 years old. Five year Vaikuntha marathon taking birth. Attachment to the lotus feet of the spiritual master fulfills all desires. Keywords "all desires". Lord Caitanya's mission to bestow benediction upon all. Keyword "all".

I pray to serve you, Srila Prabhupada, and your global body of ISKCON unti. y last breath. I am a fly in the presence of a giant Saktavesa guru, with my head at your lotus feet, begging your mercy, guidance, shelter and service to Sri Krsna and Radharani and Tulasi Devi and every personality in your books.
